The milestones of Year 8 have been adjusted based on the progress, learning, and HGBF's decision to reduce the timeframe and budget for the project.

OE4. Partnerships developed to advocate for WSA and agricultural landscape restoration nationally

Milestone 4.3: ALRI strategy and principles will influence agricultural programming and investments at a national level in El Salvador.

Evidences:

• CENTA changes its extension strategy based on lessons and experience with ALRI and WSA, including a local-led multi-actor extension network.

• CENTA adopts WSA principles of: (a) cover crops, (b) integrated soils fertility management (a.k.a. 4R) as part of its national program strategy.

• Development banks and private investors invest significantly in WSA through various programs and mechanisms. Target: $2M in loans by PY8.

• GOES invests in DSM through government funded programs, bilateral programs, and personnel (salaries).

• GOES makes decisions on agricultural investments based on analysis and planning using DSM and related tools.

• ALRI lessons and tools are referenced and applied to development programs by governments, NGOs, and donors other than HGBF.
